While other local Santa Barbara beaches on which there are homes are “wet” or “seasonal” beaches, Padaro Lane’s beach cove is almost always a dry sand beach.
Public access the cove is very difficult, given a large seawall projecting seaward at Padaro’s eastern end and cliffs at its western end.
Given its wonderful privacy, Padaro Lane one of the most desirable choices for beach home ownership.
Padaro Lane’s unique shape and topography offers something for everyone.
On Padaro’s eastern end, the homes are situated right on the sand and have views out to the islands and up the coastline.
While these homes are on Padaro’s smallest lots (generally with 50′ beach frontages), they enjoy the best views of the sunsets and coastline up to Santa Barbara.
Along Padaro’s mid-section, there are larger homes on acre sized lots on a gentle knoll.
These coveted homes are elevated just enough to afford gorgeous views of the entire cove but without risk of wave damage.
Just west of the knoll of Padaro Lane, Beach Club Road is a gated, private road off Padaro Lane with 9 beachfront and 18 non-beachfront homes.
Further west past Beach Club Road on Padaro’s western end, the homes are blufftop and all are on multiple acres.
